PR Council Agency-Ready Certification Program
Participant of the PR Council's agency leader-led webinars on important areas of the industry including strategic planning, applying data, social media strategy, crisis communications, and medical writing. From this experience, I also benefitted from instruction on important industry tech platforms and guidance on remote interviewing, resume writing, time management, and managing stress and anxiety. I even took part in a virtual new business pitch.
2020 Public Relations Professionals of Long Island Scholarship
The PRPLI Student Scholarship is open to full-time college juniors, seniors (including graduating seniors) and post-graduate students at four-year colleges/universities whose career objective is to work in the area of public relations, communications and/or marketing. I was selected among a competitive pool of candidates.
2019 New York Women in Communications Scholarship
My scholarship, sponsored by the Meredith Corporation, included financial assistance for my school semester and a summer internship at the company's office in New York City. This award is intended for a student who has demonstrated a commitment to a career in publishing (print, digital and/or marketing). I was chosen as a recipient due to my professional qualifications and academic merit among a large competitive pool of candidates.

Through NYWICI, I have been able to participate in various event committees and the Youth Professionals Committee. I have also been able to manage the organization's social media outlets.
Mimic Pro Social Media Simulation Certificate of Completion
Through this simulation, I successfully created and managed simulated social media marketing campaigns for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. The following skills and activities were completed as I gained hands-on experience in earning this certification.

2019 Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Transformative Learning Grant
Every semester, the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences awards Transformative Learning Grants to its top-achieving students. These grants help fund special research projects and internships that students are pursuing. Due to my commitment to my studies and organizations within the school, I was selected among a competitive pool of candidates to be a part of the Spring 2019 cohort.
Lambda Pi Eta Communication Studies Honor Society
In December 2018, I was inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, the national communication studies honor society, for my achievements in media, public relations and communications courses. I was selected by faculty from the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication at Hofstra University.
Gamma Theta Upsilon International Geographical Honor Society
In May 2018, I was inducted into Mu Kappa, Hofstra University's chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon (the International Geographical Honor Society) for my academic success in geography courses. I was selected by faculty from Hofstra University's Department of Global Studies and Geography.
Hofstra University Presidential Scholarship
This award was issued to me as an incoming first-year student based on my academic merit during high school. The scholarship is renewed every school year as long as recipients maintain high academic standing.
Hofstra University Music Performance Grant
The music performance grant was awarded to me by the Hofstra music department for my exceptional musical ability. Candidates were selected through a formal audition process.
Hofstra University Honors College
I was inducted into the Hofstra University Honors College for achieving a GPA higher than 3.6 after my freshman year. As an honors student, I am required to take a certain amount of honors credits among my courses, honors level seminars and maintain high academic standing.
